Entertainment — DJ Shorty Brown

This year we’ve brought in DJ Shorty Brown, a specialist school disco entertainer who knows how to keep kids engaged from the moment they walk in. Think challenges, prizes, cool props, bubbles, smoke machine, lights, lasers, big balloons, air guitars, inflatable bananas and a whole lot of energy. This one’s going to be something special.

Volunteers Needed

We need parent volunteers to help make this event happen. If you can spare some time before, during or after the disco, please sign up here.

Please note: All volunteers must hold a valid Blue Card. It’s free for volunteers and easy to apply for.

Important Note for Parents

If you would like to attend with your child because they are uncertain, you must volunteer to help and have a registered Blue Card prior to the event. It is now mandatory to have a registered Blue Card when you are present at events like this.

While You Wait

If you’d like to stay nearby during the disco, Firewell at The Well (right next door to the school) has family-friendly platters and is a great spot to hang out. It’s also owned by a HRSS family — a lovely way to support our school community.

All funds raised go back into supporting our school community.

If you have any questions, reply to this email PandC@highlandreservess.eq.edu.au or reach out on our P&C Facebook page.
