STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL (SRC)
Students in Years 4 to 6 are elected by their class teacher to participate in our Student Representative Council as part of our school leadership program. Teachers within the school coordinate this group of students to:
- Represent our students
- Participate in decision making processes
- Communicate to classes
- Bring student issues to the meeting
- Fundraise for charities and school improvements and support organisations through awareness days
STUDENT LEADERS
The Leadership Program encourages initiative, civic duty and leadership in our senior students. It is an integral part of the senior school program and involves the election of:
- School Captains
- School Ambassadors
- Sports Captains
Our School Captains and Sports Captains also participate in our SRC.
Highland Heroes are also trained to run mediator and support programs in the school. Other roles and responsibilities include:
- Prep Leaders
- Environmental Warriors
- Tuckshop Helpers
- Flag Bearers
All leaders in their roles are expected to take on the responsibilities of their position, complete tasks in a timely manner and demonstrate outstanding behaviour and attitude at school all of the time.
