THIS EVENT HAS UNFORTUNATELY BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO THE COVID SITUATION INTERSTATE. THE ORGANISATION HOSTING OUR OLYMPIC GAMES EVENT IS A NSW BASED COMPANY. WE WILL COMMUNICATE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE A NEW DATE.
This event is designed to develop our students understanding of the Olympic Games and get excited about them. It is run by an external company called 'Be Skilled, Be Fit'.
The day is on Friday 16th July - Week 1 of Term 3, the day will run as follows:
9:15am - 9:45am Opening Ceremony
9:45am - 11:00am (75 minutes) Prep - Year 2 Events
11:00am - 11:40am 1st Break
11:45am - 1:00pm (75 minutes) Year 3 - 6 Events
1:00pm - 1:40pm 2nd Break
1:45pm - 2:15pm Closing Ceremony
The Opening and Closing Ceremonies will include the entire school. The other parts of the day are split into age groups. Students will be allocated a country and each country group will move from station to station participating in a range of mini games, drills and activities.
