Students and Learning:
From Monday 25th May, students in all year levels will be able to return to Highland Reserve State School for learning. From this date, teachers will be teaching face-to-face within the classroom environment. Teachers will not be expected to lead dual (face-to-face and home based) modes of teaching and learning from this time.
Student absence due to parent / carer choice:
If you choose to keep your child home for learning from Monday 25th May, parents must notify the school office on firstname.lastname@example.org. In this situation, both supervision and continuity of learning are the responsibility of the parent / carer. Parents can access learning content from the Education Queensland site: learning@home.
The learning@home website will remain available and will continue to be updated throughout Term 2 with new resources for students in Prep to Year 6. Students will also be able to view quality curriculum-based television programs on three different stations - programming information can be found on the learning@home website.
