Nude Food Day 2018

On Tuesday 5th June, all students and staff at Highland Reserve State school will be participating in a 'Nude Food' day. This involves bringing food to school in environmentally friendly packaging. We are participating in this to raise awareness about waste and our environment.

Nude Food is simply food that is not wrapped in foil, plastic or single-serve packaging.
Our aim for this day is to empower students to make conscious choices about what they eat and how their choices impact the environment. Over 50% of our school waste comes from food and drink packaging.
That’s a lot of needless rubbish!

Quite a few of the students at HRSS already have Nude Food Lunches and with a few easy steps, so can you!

Please remember to limit your waste on this day.
