Highland Reserve State School will join the Upper Coomera ANZAC Day march and memorial service hosted by the Coomera Valley Rotary Club on Thursday 25 April. The march starts at John Siganto Park, and finishes at the war memorial at Charlies Crossing Road, where the service takes place.

All families are welcome to attend. Those wishing to join the march will need to meet behind the Coomera School of Arts Hall in Gawler Place, by 8:30am. The march will begin at 9am followed by the memorial service at the Cenotaph on Oxenford-Tamborine Road. The service will start at 9:30am and conclude by 10:30am. The Rotary Club of Coomera Valley then invite the Community to a sausage sizzle at John Siganto Park from 11am. Students attending will need to wear their school uniform, including their school hat. It is also important for those attending to wear sunscreen and bring a full water bottle as students will be sitting in the sun and it can be quite hot.

Please be aware that road closures and traffic management will be in place from 7.30 am to 11.00am. Please be safe on the day by obeying road rules, drinking plenty of water, wearing sun protection and taking advice from event officials.
